Wakai Soto Deshi - Youth (Junior) Outside Apprentice
Wakai Soto Deshi is a term that translates as youth or junior outside apprentice. This program was designed to allow students who have outside responsibilities such as Primary School, College and Careers to still participate in a more traditional methodology of learning. This program runs only during the summer months so as not to interfere with primary school.
The Wakai Soto Deshi serves as the personal student of the instructor. As such, specialized and additional training opportunities will be presented.
Who is able to apply?
Youth students age 12 - 15. From time to time we might consider a younger student but only when that student demonstrates they have the maturity needed to be successful in the program.
