Shintaiwa, which translates to mind body harmony is an art form that has been in development for over 15 years. Shintaiwa is a form of meditative movement designed to improve physical and mental health. It was created to fill the needs of a niche group of individuals who desired to learn a non combative art form that would enhance their physical and mental well being without being constrained or forced into a situation where their personal spiritual beliefs where being compromised.
Shintaiwa also has proven to be of benefit to traditional martial artists by expanding upon their knowledge of proper breathing, meditation and stretching techniques.
