術器武流心正
Though all our karate students are exposed to Kobudo through their regular karate practice in order for one to gain a deeper understanding more time is required. As such we have created the Kobudo study group which will meet from July - December each year. This group will study the style of kobudo known as Shoshin Ryu Buki Jutsu.
Shoshin Ryu Buki Jutsu is the style of kobudo taught within the USA Martial Arts Federation and was founded by Roger Jarrett Shihan. The style combines techniques from both the Taira Shinken lineage of kobudo as well as those from Korean Bong Sool training.
Students will be exposed to solo forms practice (Kata), partner drills (kumi), and modern applications.
