Black Belt Club (BBC) Program
It’s not unusual to hear the question: “Why do some students have a black stripe in the middle of their belt?” The answer has to do with our advanced programs.
Students with a black stripe down the middle of their belts are members of the Black Belt Club (BBC). These students are selected for membership based on their attendance, their attitude (in class and out of class), their dedication to their martial arts training and their focus on attaining their Black Belt.
Students are generally selected after they become a part of the intermediate (blue/purple) class in the case of juniors. However, it is possible for a Junior or Teen/Adult student to be selected as early as Green Belt.
BBC Members receive advanced training in a variety of martial Arts during exclusive classes taught periodically. They attend special Black Belt Club Only events and receive discounts on all in-house seminars.
In addition, personalized black belts are pre-ordered in the expectation of their future promotion. During special classes, our Junior BBC members will be permitted to wear their belt providing a great way to visualize achieving their Black Belt goal!
